Multi-PES? - Well, seems like most of the guys read that as "Mother's-P.E.S." and rather celebrated mothers-day at home than kickstart their shovels.
Another lesson learned. CouldN#t have been a problem with the weather that so many of the regular attendents to our meetings kept away. It was chilly but dry - somehow ideal for riding. So what, a meeting at the car-inspection station might not be a visitor magnet. Maybe the brains pushed the delete button while being reminded to show up there. Another biker-event took place that weekend at the TÜV-station. "Bikes, Music & More" is was called. Nice happening, though. When we arrived by 11a.m. we somehow stood in the way of those guys cleaning up the place. Mostly MC-Biker. But as those guys don't care to much about anything, they didn#t care about us at all. It was a good atmosphere there. One of the TÜV-engineers sneeks around, too. But he took more care about thrown away cigaretts than about us or our bikes. Our bikes were safe, stading in the sun and we could give a helping hand by pushing a beer-waggon aside. One our later, by noon, it felt like time to thin about something else to da. We saw and talked about everything that was around twince, meanhwile. Where to go to have a coffee and talk some bullshit? I had some work to do that afternoon (yes..it was lawn mowing) and my place wasn't to far away from where we were, I invided the guys to my place. As a tea-drinking guy i was sure to have some cofee left in my "palace" somewhere. After a "long distance ride" of about 30km we arrived at my place. Time flies when you're having fun. Listening to all those stories the guys had to tell about past and future trips from Morocco to USA, India and South America. I personally plan to have my bike shipped in a container over to Chicago in 2028 to attend at the factorys 125 year anniversary and ride all the way down to Sturgis afterwards. - Well, some time until that but isn't dreaming and memories the best about traveling? Somewhen we all had talked and listened enough and we spread again. Nice sound listening five shovels leaving before silence came back to my place on the countryside. Me and my family had a lot of fun to meet those guys in our home. Just one question is open: What about a "real PES"? We learned from the past happenings: Not to have a PES in a tourist crowded place, not to have a PES together with any other event. More riding. Let's see what ideas come next. Maybe somebody at the coast will call out a PEP. That could be a nice ride. Regards from the edge of the green, Maruski |
